2 Ways Adults Can Have Fun in a Playground

Playground fun isn’t exclusive to children. There are so many ways for grown-ups to have fun in the playground. Often, adults just don’t pay attention when the chance comes to let loose. Bringing kids to playgrounds shouldn’t be a chore. Below are 2 ways you can have fun—and just be—at no cost.

1. Get in there and play
You’re there to watch the kids anyway, why not attach yourself to them without being just-another-annoying-grown-up? Not only do you get to keep a close eye on the kids, you also get yourself a great opportunity for you to bond with children in an outdoor environment. Do what they do and really be with them. You’d be surprised with the things you’ll learn from children in their natural environment. This is your chance to talk to them without sounding like a parent. Bridge the gap, get to know their friends and find out what’s in and what’s out on things that matter to them.

2. Your gym without the crowd
All you need is your body weight and whatever playground structures or sets already found there. You can also tap your creative juices to mix up your workout. You are most likely to get a better workout because you won’t be defined by machines with specific purposes. Moreover, you won’t have to wait for your turn to use any machine. Best of all, you can run all you want!

Safety won’t be an issue as most public playgrounds are well-maintained. Check the flooring to make sure that it can absorb your body’s impact. The best floorings are of rubber mulch . These are durable enough to withstand any weather yet cushiony enough to break your fall and absorb impact.
